Every journey begins with that first step. Annually, thousands of concerned citizens in more than 60 communities across the nation will join NAMI's Campaign for the Mind of America and walk together to raise money and awareness about our country's need for a world-class treatment and recovery system for people with mental illness. Become A Member - Renew Membership
Sign up to become a member of NAMI-DE. By joining NAMI-DE, you show decision-makers that you support our work. When you join, you become a member of NAMI National as well, which allows you to access online communities at www.nami.org and receive the quarterly Advocate magazine. Members are also eligible for discounted admission to certain NAMI-DE and National events. NAMI-DE membership is good for one full year. You can easily donate to NAMI-DE online using the form below.
In Memorial
A gift to NAMI-DE in memory or remembrance of a loved one will provide much needed support services for the mentally ill and their families in the state of Delaware. If you would like to make a donation in memorial of a loved one, please use the form below. In comments, please provide the name and address of the person's family you are honoring.
Following receipt of your donation we will send a letter to the family of the person you have donated in memory of notifying them of your donation. For your privacy, we will not disclose the amount of your donation unless you indicate otherwise. We will also send you a tax deductible receipt, and a thank you, as well.
Other Ways to Support NAMI-DE
The United Way of Delaware: Designate a payroll deduction or make a contribution to The United Way of Delaware and have the funds directed to NAMI-DE. Contact The United Way of Delaware at (302) 573-3700. NAMI-DE’s book number is 103.
Employer Matching Gifts: Many companies will match their employees’ and retirees’ charitable contributions. Check with your personnel office to obtain the necessary forms and instructions. Send the completed form to NAMI-DE, 2400 W. 4th Street, Wilmington, Delaware 19805 and your dollars could double or even triple!
