You can easily and safely donate to NAMI-DE online using the link below.  All transactions are processed using Secure Socket Layering (SSL) to keep your information secure and hidden.  After making your transaction, you will receive a thank you letter by postal mail which will serve as confirmation of your donation.

Become A Member - Renew Membership

Sign up to become a member of NAMI-DE.  By joining NAMI-DE, you show decision-makers that you support our work.  When you join, you become a member of NAMI National as well, which allows you to access online communities at www.nami.org and receive the quarterly Advocate magazine.  Members are also eligible for discounted admission to certain NAMI-DE and National events. NAMI-DE membership is good for one full year.

Wedding Gifts/Donations

If you would like to make a donation in honor of a couple's wedding, please use the Online Donation Form.  Check "other" for donation type.  In comments, please provide the following information:

• Bride and Groom's First and Last Name
• Address
• How you would like name to read

All transactions are processed using Secure Socket Layering (SSL) to keep your information secure and hidden.  After making your transaction, you will receive a thank you letter by postal mail which will serve as confirmation of your donation.  The couple will receive a nice card illustrating artwork from NAMI and wedding wishes from you.  For your privacy, we will not disclose the amount of your donation unless you indicate otherwise.  We will also send you a tax deductible receipt, and a thank you, as well.

In Memoriam

A gift to NAMI-DE in memory of a loved one will provide much needed support services for the mentally ill and their families in the state of Delaware.  If you would like to make a donation in memoriam of a loved one, please use the Online Donation Form.  Check "other" for donation type.  In comments, please provide the following information:

• First and Last Name of who card should be sent to
• Address
• Who memoriam is for

All transactions are processed using Secure Socket Layering (SSL) to keep your information secure and hidden.  After making your transaction, you will receive a thank you letter by postal mail which will serve as confirmation of your donation.  Following receipt of your donation we will send a letter to the family of the person you have donated in memory of notifying them of your donation.  For your privacy, we will not disclose the amount of your donation unless you indicate otherwise.  We will also send you a tax deductible receipt, and a thank you, as well.  *For all In Memoriam donations, please include the name and address of the person's family you are honoring.

Every journey begins with that first step. Matching Gift Programs

What is a matching gift?

An easy way to double – even triple – the value of your contribution to NAMI-DE! Thousands of companies (of all sizes, in all industries) have Matching Gift programs that "match" their employees' contributions (often Board members and spouses, too) to their favorite charities.

How do I secure a matching gift for my donation to NAMI-DE?

First, contact your Human Resources Department to find out if your company has a Matching Gift Program.  If they have a matching gift program, your company likely uses one of two ways to secure your additional matching gift to NAMI-DE:

• (Most common) Obtain your company's matching gift form, fill out the "Donor" section, and mail it to NAMI-DE when you send your donation. NAMI-DE will complete the "Charity" section of the form, and mail it back to your company. This will confirm that we received your gift and request their matching gift.
• (Less common) Make your donation to NAMI-DE through the mail, phone, or namide.org. Upon receipt of your gift, NAMI-DE will send a letter acknowledging your contribution. Bring this letter to your Matching Gift program coordinator who will distribute your company's matching gift to NAMI-DE.

Why should I give a matching gift to NAMI-DE?

Matching gift programs allow you to allocate your company's charitable dollars to the cause nearest and dearest to you heart, greatly increasing your donation's value to NAMI-DE.  What's more, NAMI-DE considers your corporation's matching gift as part of your total contribution. Therefore, your $50 gift can become a $100.
